AFCA launches Auslan communications for Deaf and hard-of-hearing community

We are excited to announce today, in celebration of the International Day of Sign Languages, AFCA has launched a range of Auslan videos. This new initiative aims to improve access to our services for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

At AFCA, we acknowledge and celebrate Auslan as a unique language, and we are committed to representing the diversity of the communities we serve. With over 20,000 Australians using Auslan as their primary language, we are pleased to add Auslan videos to our suite of translated resources, now available in 21 languages.

We understand that communication styles vary, and we are here to support people who sign, lipread, or prefer written communication. We already work closely with Auslan interpreters and are excited to offer more options for individuals who need help with unresolved complaints about financial product and services.
